Purple Tea: Studies have shown that by consuming purple tea over a 4 week time period that body mass index, body weight, body fat mass, abdominal fat, body fat radio, and upper arm fat were reduced prior to ingestion.
Green Tea Leaf Extract: Multiple studies have found that green tea supplements, containing catechins or caffeine, had a small but positive impact on weight loss and weight management.
Garcinia Fruit Extract: One study found statistically relevant results in subjects who participated. Researchers reported an 11% decrease in waist circumference over 8 weeks in those given this ingredient.
Caralluma Fimbriata: In one study, 43 adults between the ages of 29 and 59 combined dietary control and physical activity with C. fimbriata supplementation. Those in the group that took the C. fimbriata lost a little more than 2 inches around their waists during the study period. This was more than double the average loss of less than 1 inch among the control group participants.
Nigella Seed Extract: Supplementation with Nigella lowered total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein and body mass index, and increased high density lipoprotein (HDL) along with VO2 max.
